The Phoenix Lodge, No. 9963 held its regular meeting, it was a swift meeting upstairs, with more joining members balloted for and a new joiner proposed. It was noted that since this time last year the lodge has doubled its membership, the members and visitors presented commented it was great to see the lodge thriving.
The members and their guests supported the Beverley Beer Festival hosted by the Rotary Club supported by CAMRA. There were a selection of beers and ciders available and it was fantastic to see the Masonic Hall so packed. Everyone had an enjoyable time and several members of the public had questions about masonry which the members were only too happy to help answer.
Our next meeting will be November, which is our business meeting, until our next merry meeting , on behalf of all the members we leave you with ‘cheers’
